Who We Are

We Are Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) is one of Canada's largest single-industry trade associations, representing more than 97,000 real estate Brokers/agents and salespeople working through 100 real estate Boards and Associations.

CREA's primary mission is to represent its members at the federal level of government and to act as a watchdog on national legislation that pertains to the real estate industry. CREA has frequently taken strong stands to defend the public's right to own and enjoy property.

CREA owns the MLS® trademark and has a proprietary interest in the REALTOR® trademark. The REALTOR® trademark is an assurance of integrity. It can only be used in Canada by members of The Canadian Real Estate Association who accept and respect a strict Code of Ethics. The real estate database systems operated by our member Boards and Associations under the MLS® trademark provide an ongoing inventory of available properties and ensure maximum exposure of properties listed for sale.

The Association also operates the realtor.ca and ICX.CA web sites, and the REALTOR Link® Intranet site for members across Canada.

All listings are MLS® unless otherwise stated. Sold seller saved amounts are based on comparing what the seller paid(not including HST) to 6%(not including HST). Any comparisons to a percentage commission, such as 6%, are for illustration and comparison purposes only. Commissions are negotiable. Our Sellers have the option to pay another outside brokerage a fee if they choose, which fee may be significant. Our LOW FLAT FEE also applies on the MLS® when Assist-2-Sell Moncton Area Homes Realty is the sole brokerage involved in the transaction. We accept no money up front and only get paid for our results on the closing day. On the MLS® the seller will offer a co-operating broker a fee. The flat fee program applies to residential sales only. Not intended to solicit homes currently listed with a REALTOR®.
